Some highlights in the upcoming week include a demonstration by the Duck Lake Sauerkraut Crew on how to make “French Choucroute, Polish Kiszona Kapusta” or as you may call it, “Sauerkraut,” at the Haliburton County Farmers Market on September 28, 2012, a CAT-astrophe at the Rail’s End Gallery, the Minden Hills Museum Annual Heritage Dinner (check out the menu below), a display of ‘the breathtaking fall beauty of the Haliburton Highlands’ at the Haliburton County Studio, ‘Plant Me, Instead,’ an opportunity to partake in a hands-on learning experience in which you’ll learn about invasive plant species and alternate native plants to use with the proper planting techniques, the Tuf Rack Fall Classic, the 10th Annual Women’s Day Together, and a Christmas Craft Sale in Minden.
