Hey there!
I hope you all are managing to stay cool and are bracing yourself for a really hot-weather day on Monday. No better time to be in the Highlands relaxing by or in one of the many beautiful, bountiful lakes after you have headed out to enjoy the many fun and charity-oriented activities that the Highlands offer. On the menu in the coming days and weeks are dusk dances, yoga classes, dog pedicures for charity, biking, music, summer zumba, opera lessons, a charity golf classic and more!
As usual, I’m including this week’s 14-day weather outlook. We’ve reached a point now that part of our vacation time is in the forecast and it really does not look bad. I’m glad of the warmer temperatures and I don’t mind the rain because we all know–it’s needed! The warmth and wet makes the bugs happy, too as you can see in the bug forecast. Sometimes, Deet (bug repellant) is a cottager’s best friend!
